A Month Or Two
03:11
|
|||
i got an ad on the internet
for ceasing smoking cigarettes
isn’t it fun how i’d forget you
if fate allowed me to
i saw you bike past the other day
had you seen me what would you say
shriveled and broke i swerved out the way
just like i always do
it don’t feel better we all grow numb
let’s blame this on me being young
guess i’m no different just another one
you let me slip away
i got an ad on the internet
for ceasing smoking cigarettes
isn’t it fun how you’ll forget me
in a month or two
give it some time time time time time time time
give it some time time time time time time time
give it some time time time time time time time
(how long will it take?)
give it some time time time time time time time
(how long will it take?)
give it some time
(how long will it take?)
give it some time

Nine Lives
03:47
|
|||
Cats have nine lives
I have two
I live one for me
And one for you
If I can dissolve I do
If I can dissolve I do
Spare a crumb, I'll take it
I said hold my hand, not break it
I'm trying to say this all makes sense considering
That I'm giving up again
Yes, I'm giving up again
Cats have nine lives, I have three
I gave all to you, saved none for me
It's true, it's true
Screw the timeline, I lost track
Was it really me who had my bags all packed up first?
Guess I'm giving up again
Yes, I'm giving up again
Yes, I'm giving up again
Yes, I'm giving up again
I can't be this miserable, and then swеar to God I'm fine
I don't think I fell too hard, got this injured in thе climb
I got injured in the climb
I got injured on the climb
Cats have nine lives
I have two
I live one for me,
And one for you
If I can dissolve I do
If I can dissolve I do
If I can dissolve I do
If I can dissolve I do
If I can dissolve I do

Habits Held
02:03
|
|||
i guess i quit smoking in time for something else
i’m trading bad habits like books on library shelves
now loneliness finds me in some better health
but habits are habits and my bad habits held
i guess i quit smoking in time to meet you
by swapping my poison my bodies subdued
but how can i ever maintain that i’ve quit
when all that i’ve swapped out's the flame i burn with?
i thought i quit smoking, i guess that i was wrong
these people i cling to don’t cling to me long
next time i’m found in need of a fix
i’ll stick to the poison i know's a good fit

Crop Circles
03:46
|
|||
These days I've been lying about my age
Pretending I am older worser people stay away
Lately I've been coming on too strong
To men I've never seen before
And won't see me for long
And I,
I don't think I've changed
No and I'm
Too scared to stay the same
So my carpets got crop circles,
My carpets got crop circles these days
All these words of mine I've said before
I'm running out of things to say
Silence I can't endure
Every time I think I'm done but yet
Another crop of memories
It springs up in my head
And I,
I don't think I've changed
No and I'm
Too scared to stay the same
So my carpets got crop circles,
My carpets got crop circles these days
And I,
I don't think I've changed
No and I'm
Too scared to stay the same
So my carpets got crop circles,
My carpets got crop circles these days
Here I am
I'm crying out for change
Here I am
I'm crying out for change
And I,
I don't think I've changed
And I,
I don't think I've changed
And I,
I don't think I've changed
And I,
I don't think I've changed
I don't think I've changed

Take Back
04:09
|

Baby, if I can even call you that,
You know I’m struggling to remember,
I mean I’m struggling to forget
Lately I’ve been so caught inside my head
I swear I haven't lived in weeks
Been daydreaming instead
I missed a call again
I miss my family, friends
I miss just waking up alone, not missing anything
And now he’s gone again
Stuck on my phone again
Just waiting on someone who’s not waiting on someone
I’d bet money his memory is hazed
It’s not too out of character, we paved the path that way
I’m missing full night’s sleep
I’m missing meals, no drinks
I miss believing words are said, words that are said to me
And not he’s gone again
Stuck on my phone again
Just waiting on someone
I’m not waiting on no one
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back, take back
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back, take back
And while I hope that my pictures on his shelf when I get home
I don’t want to see nobody else
I wanna hold me accountable for things I did myself
Don’t wanna see nobody else
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back, take back
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back some of my time
I’m gonna take back, take back
